Box office plan

Make Yala Club your ticketing partner for every ticket you sell and you get seating plans and a booking widget for your own website, on top of our full set of social media and booking tools. You also get a shorter last-minute window: 0% commission on tickets sold up to 48 hours before your event, just Stripe's card fee, and 10% in the last 48 hours. On Spare Spots the window is 72 hours.

How it works

• Switch your plan: In your venue account, choose Box Office and confirm you'll sell every ticket for your events on Yala Club. It takes a minute and applies to the events you create from then on.
• List the whole event: Set your normal price and your full capacity, or pick a seating plan. Choose when tickets go on sale, and add any questions you need answered.
• Sell everywhere from one place: Your own website with the booking widget, the Yala Club app and map, your socials and the door, all on one count and one guest list.

What you get

• 0% commission until the last 48 hours: Up to 48 hours before your event you pay Stripe's card fee only, a day longer than Spare Spots. No monthly fee, no setup fee and no contract.
• Seating plans: Build your room once with sections, rows and aisles. People pick their own seats when they book.
• Sell on your own website: Paste one line of code and your events appear on your site with a Book button, kept up to date for you.
• Featured in our weekly email: Your events get a featured spot in the Yala Club Friday round-up, sent to people nearby. Free advertising, included in the plan.
• Questions at checkout: Dietary needs, names on tickets, how people heard about you. Answers show on your guest list and export.
• Card payments at the door: Walk-ins scan a code and pay on their own phone, and they go straight onto the same guest list.
• Everything in Spare Spots: The Yala Club map and app, scheduled on-sale, the social media kit, the door screen, messages to ticket holders, reviews and reports.

One rule: every ticket for your events is sold on Yala Club, not on another ticketing platform. That's what stops seats being double booked. You can switch back any time.

• Yala Club commission: £0.00
• Stripe card fee (1.5% + 20p on UK cards): −£0.43
• You get: £14.57

Customers also pay a booking fee, shown inside the price they see. That goes to Yala Club and never comes out of your share.

Is it really free for us?

For every ticket sold up to 48 hours before your event, yes. Yala Club takes 0% and you pay only Stripe's card fee, which every card payment costs. Tickets sold in the last 48 hours, when we push your event on the Yala Club map, are 10%.

Can we still sell on the door?

Yes, through Yala Club. Take card payments at the door, or use the door screen if someone pays you another way, so the count and guest list stay right.

How does Yala Club make money?

From the last 48 hours. In the 48 hours before each event, we push it on the Yala Club map and app as a last-minute event, in front of people looking for something to do that day or the next. Tickets sold in that window are charged at 10%. Everything you sell before then is commission free, and customers pay a booking fee on every ticket.

Can we switch back?

Yes, any time, in your venue account. The change applies to events you create after switching.

When do we get paid?

The same as Spare Spots: your share goes into your own Stripe account as tickets sell, and to your bank two days after the event.
